Description
CD274 (also known as PD-L1) encodes the programmed death-ligand 1 protein, a transmembrane immune checkpoint molecule. PD-L1 binds to PD-1 on T cells, inhibiting T-cell activation and promoting immune tolerance. Overexpression in tumors facilitates immune evasion, making CD274 a critical target for cancer immunotherapy. Protein Summary
