What is T Cell Activation & Signaling ?
T cell activation requires TCR recognition of peptide-MHC and co-stimulatory signals (CD28, etc.), triggering kinase cascades (LCK, ZAP70, LAT) and calcium flux. These events drive clonal expansion and differentiation into effector/memory cells. CRISPR-based engineering of TCR signaling underlies CAR-T and TCR-T cell therapy design.
