Description
VAMP3 (Vesicle Associated Membrane Protein 3), also known as cellubrevin, is a member of the SNARE protein family. It is involved in vesicular transport and membrane fusion, particularly in recycling endosomes and exocytosis. VAMP3 mediates the docking and fusion of vesicles with target membranes, playing a role in processes such as neurotransmitter release, glucose transporter translocation, and immune cell degranulation.
