Protein Summary
TCEA2 is a 299-amino acid protein that contains a zinc ribbon domain and a TFIIS-type domain. It binds to RNA polymerase II and stimulates transcription elongation by promoting readthrough of pause sites. The protein is localized to the nucleus and is expressed in many tissues.
