Description

S1PR4 (sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor 4) is a member of the endothelial differentiation gene (EDG) family of G protein-coupled receptors. It binds the bioactive lipid sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) and is primarily expressed in lymphoid and hematopoietic tissues. S1PR4 plays a role in immune cell migration, cytokine production, and vascular development. It is involved in lymphocyte trafficking and has been implicated in immune disorders and certain cancers.
