Description

RAB11A is a small GTPase of the Rab family that regulates endocytic recycling, exocytosis, and membrane trafficking. It controls the recycling of internalized receptors and lipids back to the plasma membrane and is involved in cytokinesis, cell migration, and autophagy. RAB11A functions as a molecular switch, cycling between an active GTP-bound state and an inactive GDP-bound state, and is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis.
