Description
ING5 (Inhibitor of Growth Family Member 5) is a protein-coding gene that encodes a tumor suppressor protein. It is a component of the HBO1 (MYST1) and MOZ/MORF (MYST3/MYST4) histone acetyltransferase complexes, which acetylate histones H3 and H4 to regulate chromatin structure and gene expression.
