Description
DAP3 (Death Associated Protein 3) encodes a 29 kDa protein that functions as a component of the mitochondrial small ribosomal subunit (MRP-S29) and plays a critical role in apoptosis. It is involved in interferon-gamma-induced cell death, TNF-alpha signaling, and mitochondrial translation.
