Description

CDC25B is a dual-specificity phosphatase that activates cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs) by dephosphorylating inhibitory phosphotyrosine and phosphothreonine residues. It plays a critical role in the G2/M transition of the cell cycle and is involved in DNA damage checkpoint recovery. Overexpression and mutations are associated with various cancers.
