Description

CCR3 (C-C motif chemokine receptor 3) is a G protein-coupled receptor for CC chemokines such as eotaxin (CCL11), eotaxin-3 (CCL26), MCP-3 (CCL7), and RANTES (CCL5). It is predominantly expressed on eosinophils, basophils, mast cells, and Th2 lymphocytes, playing a central role in allergic inflammation, eosinophil recruitment, and asthma pathogenesis.
