Description
CCNB3 encodes cyclin B3, a member of the cyclin family involved in cell cycle regulation. Cyclin B3 binds to and activates cyclin-dependent kinase 2 (CDK2) and is essential for meiotic progression during spermatogenesis. It is predominantly expressed in testis and plays a critical role in male fertility.

Protein Summary
Cyclin B3 is a 1395-amino acid protein containing a cyclin N-terminal domain and a cyclin C-terminal domain. It localizes to the nucleus and interacts with CDK2 to regulate G2/M transition and meiotic progression. Expression is largely restricted to testis, with lower levels in other tissues.
