Description

CCN3 (Cellular Communication Network Factor 3), also known as NOV (nephroblastoma overexpressed), is a member of the CCN family of matricellular proteins. It plays a role in cell adhesion, migration, proliferation, differentiation, and angiogenesis. CCN3 is involved in development, wound healing, fibrosis, and tumorigenesis. It interacts with integrins, Notch, and other signaling pathways.
