Description
CCL28 (C-C Motif Chemokine Ligand 28) is a chemokine that binds to receptors CCR10 and CCR3. It is constitutively expressed in mucosal tissues (e.g., colon, salivary gland, mammary gland) and plays a critical role in the homing of IgA-secreting plasma cells and effector T cells to mucosal sites. CCL28 also exhibits antimicrobial activity against bacteria and fungi, and is involved in angiogenesis and tumor progression.
