Description

CCL25 (C-C Motif Chemokine Ligand 25), also known as TECK (Thymus-Expressed Chemokine), is a chemokine that selectively binds to the receptor CCR9. It plays a critical role in the homing of T-cell precursors to the thymus, T-cell development, and the recruitment of lymphocytes to the small intestine. CCL25 is predominantly expressed in the thymus and small intestine, and its dysregulation is implicated in inflammatory bowel disease, colorectal cancer, and autoimmune conditions.
