Description

CCL1 (C-C motif chemokine ligand 1) is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family. It is primarily produced by activated T cells and monocytes and functions as a chemoattractant for monocytes, natural killer cells, and immature dendritic cells. CCL1 signals through the CCR8 receptor and plays a role in inflammatory responses, immune regulation, and tumor microenvironment modulation.

CCL1 is a 96-amino-acid secreted chemokine (mature form 73 residues) with a typical CC motif (two adjacent cysteines). It is produced as a precursor with a 23-amino-acid signal peptide. The protein forms a monomeric structure stabilized by two disulfide bonds.
