Overview
Regulatory T Cell Biology
Study Treg differentiation, suppressive function, FOXP3 regulation and Treg roles in autoimmunity and cancer using CRISPR-engineered T cell models.
What is Regulatory T Cell Biology ?
Regulatory T cells (Tregs) are a CD4+ T cell subset expressing FOXP3 that suppresses immune responses to maintain self-tolerance and prevent autoimmunity. In tumors, Tregs can suppress anti-tumor immunity, making them a target for immunotherapy. CRISPR-based manipulation of Treg function has therapeutic potential for autoimmune disease and cancer.
