What is Fc Receptors & Antibody Response ?
Fc receptors (FcRs) are surface proteins on immune cells that bind the Fc region of antibodies, linking humoral and cellular immunity. They mediate antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC), phagocytosis (ADCP) and antigen presentation. Engineering FcR expression and signaling improves understanding of therapeutic antibody mechanisms and immune complex-driven diseases.
