Overview
Embryonic Development
Study axis formation, germ layer specification, organogenesis and developmental signaling pathways using CRISPR-engineered stem cell and embryo models.
What is Embryonic Development ?
Embryonic development is the process by which a fertilized egg undergoes cell division, differentiation and morphogenesis to form a complete organism. It is orchestrated by conserved signaling pathways (WNT, BMP, FGF, Notch) and transcription factor networks. Model systems with CRISPR tools enable dissection of gene function during early development and investigation of congenital defects.
Key Research Applications
Germ layer marker and lineage tracing
Developmental gene knockout phenotyping
Congenital anomaly gene validation
