Protein purification platform

EDITGENE has built a mature protein expression and purification platform, which is independently developed and based on its Fish/Bait one-step protein purification technology. This platform solves the problems of long time consumption, high loss of target proteins, low purity, and low activity in the process of protein expression and purification. Based on this platform, various highly active target proteins can be obtained, which can be directly applied to downstream experiments such as gene editing and CRISPR detection. At present, the EDITGENE has been expressed and purified to produce a series of highly efficient editing enzymes - LbCas12a,  AapCas12b, LwaCas13a, LbuCas13a.These editing enzymes are with significantly higher activity than those from top multinational suppliers and other enzymes on the market.

Introduction to Fish/Bait one-step protein purification technology

The Fish/Bait one-step protein purification technology is based on the principle of affinity chromatography, relying on a mature and complete experimental system to achieve the extraction and purification of target proteins from a mixture in one step. The independently developed purification label with extremely high affinity activity can significantly increase the binding ability of the target protein to the chromatography column, which only requirs one pass through the column for improving the recovery rate. Using optimized wash buffer that optimize pH and ion composition, ensuring the purity and activity of the target protein.
