Description
NCR2 (Natural Cytotoxicity Triggering Receptor 2) encodes NKp44, a transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the natural cytotoxicity receptor (NCR) family. NKp44 is expressed primarily on activated natural killer (NK) cells and plays a critical role in NK cell-mediated cytotoxicity and cytokine production upon recognition of target cells.
