Overview
Angiogenesis
Study tumor angiogenesis, vascular signaling and cancer-associated blood vessel formation mechanisms using CRISPR-engineered cell models.
What is Angiogenesis ?
Angiogenesis is the process of forming new blood vessels from existing vasculature and plays a critical role in tumor growth and metastasis. Cancer cells promote angiogenesis by releasing signaling molecules such as VEGF to create a supportive blood supply. Targeting angiogenic pathways has become an important strategy in cancer therapy development.
