What is Oxidative Stress & Redox ?
Oxidative stress results from an imbalance between ROS production and antioxidant capacity, leading to damage of lipids, proteins and DNA. It is implicated in aging, cancer, neurodegeneration and cardiovascular disease. Key regulators include NRF2, SODs and glutathione systems. CRISPR tools help dissect the genetic control of redox homeostasis.
