Protein Summary
The AMIGO3 protein is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein composed of 509 amino acids. It contains an N-terminal signal peptide, six leucine-rich repeats (LRRs), a cysteine-rich domain, a single immunoglobulin-like (Ig) domain, a transmembrane region, and a cytoplasmic tail. The LRR and Ig domains mediate homophilic and heterophilic interactions with other AMIGO family members, facilitating cell-cell adhesion.
